Hi.

After living in NYC apartments for most of my 20s & 30s, I never had a porch, or rather “a stoop”… what I did have was a career in fashion and design. Working in editorial for fashion magazines as well as PR, Marketing & Events for major global luxury fashion & lifestyle brands, I managed to amass a great resume, a killer shoe collection, and zero holiday décor.

Then, as all great stories begin… at 39, I met a boy. He lived in Danville. In 2022, after a whirlwind courtship, wedding, and a baby, I left my porch-less city girl life for this charming Hallmark Movie of a town. I fell as in love with this community, as I did the boy. We bought a house, renovated it, and built; you guessed it… a porch!

Then in 2023, to make up for lost time and twenty years of oppressed holiday decorating desire, I amassed an enormous amount of seasonal decor in eager anticipation for the first holidays in our new home. At the same time, I made my first true (equally design obsessed) “mom-friend”. With her pumpkin seed of an idea, and my inability to do anything small, PoP was born.

My process is simple. Either working toward bringing your/or my vision to life, every porch starts as a blank canvas in my mind. Then, leveraging my editorial/design background (understanding of color, line, shape, form, and texture) and using seasonal elements as my paints, I strive to turn every porch into a holiday painting that brings joy. Because at the end of the day, it’s never just décor — it’s the feeling of coming home, of welcoming loved ones, of creating moments that linger.
